Sending, tracking and receiving emails via Airtable

Hi all!

I am currently building a product to make Airtable + email finally easy and enjoyable.

The goal is to send emails from your base, track status (sent, opened, replied) and catch email replies in a shared inbox where users can collaborate with their team, send replies and search maile, files etc.

All of this without hitting your record or automation limits.

I am am currently talking to as many people as possible to better understand the use-cases and show my MVP.

If this sounds like sth your might be interested in - I would love to talk to you

Hi. Will i be able to use my own domain address? Does your solution needs integration with other tools like Mailchimp etc…?

Hi, yes you can create unlimited sender domains!
The app provides the whole email infrastructure, so you do not need subscriptions with mailchimp or others,

@Pazhamalai would you like to know more or discuss your use-case?

Hey @Konrad ,
This sounds like a great solution! I can see how it could solve a lot of trouble for many of my clients. One big topic is record limit management. So how do you solve that problem? Where are the emails stored?
If they are stored outside of Airtable, how can I make sure that if an employee is absent and another employee is taking over, they have access to the communication that has taken place?

Great questions @Marielle !

All emails, notes, files etc are saved on our servers. So emails and threads are linked to airtable record and users can also decide to fill some email content into fields (e.g. a file or subject line) but you don’t need to create a record for each email. Data we store we make avaliable in a web-app which works like any shared inbox: You can search, filter and tag emails, assign them to users etc. So when one of your team is absent, someone else can easily take over.

Hope this answers the question!
