Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to audit a Zapier integration? I have this client who uses Zapier with Airtable and when we are considering touching the Airtable schema we have no idea what will break in Zapier. I don’t understand why there isn’t a Zapier extension in Airtable that can show which fields are being used in Zapier.
(I’m not an Airtable expert at all, just happen to be using it with a client.)
Welcome to the community, @Audrey!
As far as I know, there is only one automation platform that lets you do a full audit of all of your integrations.
It is called Make, and their “Make Grid” feature does exactly what you’re looking for. You can click on any app, any table, or any field, and it will give you a comprehensive list of every single place where that app, table, or field is being used across ALL of your automations. (Note that Make Grid is only offered on paid plans, not free plans.)
On that note, my #1 strongest recommendation to every business that I’ve ever worked with is to completely switch away from Zapier to Make as quickly as possible.
Zapier is so incredibly underpowered, yet it is so terribly overpriced for how incredibly little it can do. I even wrote an entire thread comparing Make vs. Zapier here. Make is infinitely more capable & infinitely cheaper than Zapier.
The one advantage that people say that Zapier has is that it’s easier to learn than Make, but once you spend a few hours learning Make, the world is your oyster.
Because Make has a little bit of a learning curve, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the many different ways that you can instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.
Hope this helps!
If you have a budget and you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with this or anything else that is Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website:

I’ll check out the resources and we will consider Make and possibly consulting. Thanks so much for the reply!
