Airtable is planning to remove elements-based interfaces

I was just checking out the docs page of airtable interfaces, and this was at the top, updated July 6.

“While elements-based interface layouts are still currently available, we invite you to try the newer table-based interfaces. These layouts offer a more streamlined building process that ensures consistency and efficiency throughout your organization.”
Does that mean they’re completely removing the customizable, drag-and-drop interfaces?

Is this the plan? Because that would completely kill my interfaces.

That could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for users who are already at the breaking point with Airtable’s shenanigans.

However, if Airtable improves those new interfaces to include all the elements and all the drag-and-drop capabilities that we are all accustomed to, then it would be fine.
