Copy Record to another Base

Outside of syncing, there is no way to automate things between different bases unless you write your own custom Javascripts or use a low-code automation tool like Make’s advanced automations for Airtable.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you can instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

Alternatively, you can manually copy-and-paste a record between bases from one grid view to another grid view – as long as all of the fields are lined up identically in your grid views in both bases.

Also, is there a specific reason that you need to copy a record to another base? That is not something that we would typically see in a database system.
